Can you do a shoot Wednesday night? – it was Tuesday morning!
Luckily the guys at Zed Studio were very accommodating and arrangements were made to use this most excellent new facility in Kendal’s creative quarter ‘The Factory’ on the former Goodacre Carpets site.
Eleven Degrees are a menswear brand with some exceptional tees and their model was in town for a visit so it was an ideal opportunity to get the new range photographed, rumour has it that Twitter and Facebook got rather excited when Gaz was seen in one of Kendal’s eateries before arriving with me!
My brief was fairly simple but planning ahead means it also makes life easier for the graphic designer and Web Gods with consistency in lighting and posing they can keep the brand identity across all channels and keeps it relatively easy to replicate on future shoots for a co-hesive look on the website and wider marketing requirements.
A fairly small team on set meant that working through the items was fast and calculated, which in turn helps to be cost effective for the brand and makes sure the models remain fresh throughout.
Some readers of this blog will recognise our model as Gaz Beadle from MTV’s Geordie Shore, a great guy to work with very little direction required to get the very best from him and the brand. It is great to see business thrive, especially local business and the quality of product and passion of the team behind Eleven Degrees is fantastic and I am looking forward to working with them again soon.
Obviously being the shoot for Spring-Summer 2015 some product images remain embargoed until launch, therefore to be safe screenshots of the Eleven Degrees website and a couple that Gaz chose for his Twitter header, website screenshots are linked though so go and have a look, I understand they make it really easy to buy 🙂
