Melissa and Ben Wedding

Following Ben and Melissa’s pre wedding shoot, obviously came their wedding – it was early May and the sun shone. My day started early at the couples house amongst the organised chaos of the bridal preparations – in all honesty it was very, very chilled!

Soon it was time to depart down the lane to St John’s church, a lovely service at Levens and some photographs outside church – although the sun was shining it was a tad on the chilly side with an icy wind coming straight off the bay. Between church and the wedding reception at the Grange hotel we stopped off for a short time for some Bride and Groom images with the beautiful Lake District backdrop, that icy wind was still howling off the bay though, brrrrrrrrrrr!

We covered some more formal images on the lawn at the hotel during the drinks reception and it was soon time for the wedding party to be called in for the line up to greet the new Mr and Mrs Craghill, a great time and very lovely couple – I wish them all the very best for their future together!
