An early start to the year 2011 for Ian Wood Photography with a booking for a Family Portrait in Cumbria. I was delighted when Chris and Bev commissioned me to take their photographs, it has been some years since they last had them taken, so it is great to be able to offer them an updated set of images to adorn the walls of their home.
Chris and Bev own and run the Moss Lea Boarding Kennels near Kendal so we had masses of space to take the images. I don’t use a studio and work exclusively on location, it makes the images so much more personal when they have been taken at a place close to the families hearts.
As always we started with a cup of tea and a chat about the images we would be taking. I always think it is important to incorporate the pastimes of the youngster if I can and as Emily has her own horse we would certainly use that, Ollie has his air rifle so we also incorporated him and his Rifle into the individual shoots.
I had a fantastic couple of hours with the family and really hope they like their images, I look forward to showing them the rest of the images and helping to plan the placement of frames within the home. In the meantime here is a ‘Sneeky Peek’
