Damian and Catherine Wedding

Well, it seems that whenever we met it rained, in fact our first meeting was when the river Kent was high late last year, it kept raining. We braved the elements again for the Pre – Wedding shoot and so the theme continued, until the morning of the Wedding and it was a lovely Lake District morning.

Granted towards the time of the Wedding our sunshine again turned into our Lovely Lake District Liquid Sunshine but spirits were not dampened at all. I was blown away as I drove up to Broad Oaks at Troutbeck, what stunning well kept grounds they have, you can tell alot about a venue from the grounds, this one obviously cares alot as every hedge and border were immaculate – I had a little smile !

Soon Helen from Definition Mobile Beauty arrived and we went to say hellos to our lovely Bride and her Bridesmaid. Its great to be met with a cup of Tea. It was also great to see Jaime from Shelley Knowles Hairdressing arrive to do the hair with the swanky new piece of kit called ‘The O’ our Brides hair looked fantastic !

It was also great to see the Grooms face as I showed him the ‘Signature Mounts’ from the pre-Wedding Shoot ready for the Wedding Guests to sign and write their messages throughout the day.

Catherine wore a really stunning gown from Frothimoon in Kendal, gorgeous !

All good and as the Bride was getting ready I could see the guests arriving and with them came the light drizzle, hey it is the Lakes afterall !

It was a great Wedding, topped off by the Fabulous Picasso Brothers, great band with a fantastic reputation Рthey came on a little late due to the whole  Troutbeck Valley having a power outage, it was dealt with as quickly as possible by the hotel though and a back up generator soon arrived Рthe evening was rocking again, Jonty and crew always make a great night and the dance floor was bouncing Рjust superb !
