So, that was 2014 and as has become tradition here are some of my most favourite moments of my ‘Wedding year’ arranged in a kind of wedding day chronological order, that is beginning of the day with bridal preparation first, end of the day with dancing and merriment last – clever huh 😉 !
I suppose it is a little bit of a cliche but I do love my job and have met some simply wonderful people and visited some of the countries most magnificent wedding venues on my adventures this year, intimate Lake District weddings, beautiful quaint churches, also some, new to me, wedding venues that I would love to return to such as the Gilpin Lake House, Wrenbury Hall and Askham Hall all truly brilliant.
Venues I have worked at before continue to excel with their magnificent service and I will be back again in 2015 to photograph weddings at, Castle Green hotel, Armathwaite Hall, the Netherwood, Merewood Country House Hotel, Broadoaks Country Hotel, Low Wood Bay Resort, Broad Leys, Grange Hotel, Carus Green Golf Club, Laura Ashley ‘The Belsfield’ and the wonderful Comlongon Castle just over the border into Scotland.
Collating the end of year blog post also helps me move forward to the New Year and my hopes and aspirations for the business and reminds me of great days, with fab people and quite simply makes me smile……
I think I have actually overdone it for this years retrospective, there are most likely far, far too many images included, hey, so what – enjoy, I would love to hear any comments, feel free to share the link on Facebook, Twitter and there is also the facility to ‘Pin’ images to Pinterest should you so wish.
If you or anyone you know are planning a wedding I would be delighted to chat about the photography for the wedding, feel free to use the contact form above me or call 01539 739 052 or 07968 791 584.
Now, photographs…………
It would also be rude of me not to mention some wedding suppliers that I seem to have worked alongside so many times this year, I guess this is testament to the quality of work they consistently produce and the most excellent service they give. So in no particular order, Emma and Zoe at Frothimoon, Claire at Flowers by Arrangement, Helen Townson at Definition, Aimee Chorley, Nigel at Wedding Car Services and of course Rachel Heyworth and the girls at Shelley Knowles Salon. There are many, many more but I seem to bump into these guys on a regular basis!
