Choosing images for the annual review post is always fascinating for me, I would even go so far as to say it is uplifting as the memories of so many lovely people, beautiful locations and of course lots of love come flooding back!
I often get carried away with hundreds of words in my blog posts, although it has to be said that I have written very few posts this year, I am going to keep this fairly brief and hopefully let the images do the talking. Suffice to say it has been a magnificent year, with, mostly great weather, if it wasn’t great, it was liquid and as always liquid sunshine is just part of life, we smile!
Wedding season this year started on the 3rd January and my last of the year, was the 28th December, I have photographed weddings from my beloved Lake District and all the way to the luxury Algarve villa, Casa Ferrel on The Algarve in Portugal in November – it was pretty cool to have some Winter sun!
Here is a small selection of some of my favourite images, impossible to share them all – I hope you enjoy them and if you would like to chat about the plans for your wedding, please do not hesitate to get in touch!
In theory I have added in a chronological order, as a wedding would happen, as I say – in theory, this year I have also dedicated this post to just weddings and the ‘Pre-Wedding’ shoot that some couples opt for, other genres will follow in subsequent blog posts.
I hope you enjoy looking as much as I enjoyed capturing the images.
Some couples opt to have a ‘pre-wedding’ shoot, I really enjoy pre-wedding sessions and we choose images from the session to create a signature mount to bring to the wedding that acts as a very visual guest book.
Now, onto weddings – starting with a magnificent view of the Langdale Pikes.
