In a former life I spent many happy years working for a little company you may have heard of called Wella, during this time I hosted with the company lots of seminars for my hairdressing clients but there was always one name that my clients wanted to see over and over again – Patrick Cameron.
Patrick Cameron is a legend amongst hairdressers, he is a specialist at dressing long hair and more than that he is probably one of the best educators I have every had the pleasure of watching, I am a photographer, not a hairdresser but watching Patrick work really is jaw dropping, it is like magic!
I am still in touch with a quite a few of my old Wella buddies and it was great to hear from Marc when he called asking for some advice with regard to holding a show with Patrick in Kendal, they already had the venue at the recently refurbished Kendal College which is a fantastic facility but wanted to see if I knew anyone that could assist with a stage, lights and sound. Its brilliant to know that a company the size of P&G and Wella still like to use local talent when they visit and I was delighted to be able to recommend Chris Edgar from Balance Pro Audio who did a brilliant job.
During the conversation Marc also asked if Rachy would be up for being a model, as you can imagine she said yes quite quickly as it meant she would also see the training first hand. Sadly I could only attend for an hour or so but it was great to see some former colleagues and clients from my Wella days.
