Aspire Photography Training Open Day

Aspire is a unique photography training experience, with a world renowned range of seminars and training courses. As a trainer at Aspire it is always a pleasure to help out on the open days, Aspire run a few open days throughout the year to show off the fantastic facilities on offer from the Burton-in-Kendal based company.

My role during the open day is to guide the delegates around the estate showing off the marvellous locations we have at our disposal as trainers. It really is a photographers dream and changes so dramatically during the different seasons, when you add in the wonderful attention to detail from the styled shoots it does not get any better! Rain or shine there is always great light.

Industry experts Catherine Connor and Jane Breakall host the day, they talk to the visitors and chat about their dreams and aspirations, some will just want to improve their hobby photography, others will be looking to polish up their business skills and I always pick up useful pieces of inspiration.

Our subject for the shoot was great and we managed to rope her sister and mother in t0 some of the shots as well, I showed the visitors around the estate and areas we would typically use on a shoot day.
