What a wonderful, wonderful Wedding – I always say that because every Wedding I photograph is different, each individual and by the fact that it is a Wedding it is Wonderful. I love the detail and all the thought and effort that go into every Wedding I attend.
There is no right and wrong way and I love the stories about why something is done the way it is, how special it is to the Bride and Groom and how Wedding Suppliers have helped to fulfil the requests and dreams of the Bride and Groom.
Chloe and Chris were married at St Oswalds, Grasmere on a fabulous July Saturday, we had lots and lots of Sunshine, granted it was the renowned Liquid Sunshine that the Lake District is known for but nevertheless no spirits were dampened.
I have previously met the Bride and Groom at the Low Wood Wedding Show and then at their Pre-Wedding Shoot and think the world of them, such a lovely couple and I am sure we will keep in touch. Sadly it was a little wet , sorry Sunny, for the Bride to walk from her parents house so the back up car was called upon.
Luckily the weather held off while we took some images on the way to the Wedding Reception at the Windermere Motor Boat Racing Club and were soon on the Lake with thanks to Windermere Lake Cruises and a great time was had by all, I love seeing peoples faces when they first see the Lake Disrict from the water, it blows me away everytime – I am damn lucky to live where I do !
All in all a bloody marvellous day, awesome Bridal hair by The Hair Lounge at Windermere, stunning Flowers by Fleurtations in Windermere and simply amazing catering by Andrew Southcott Catering. All hosted by the superb Windermere Motorboat Racing Club who as always did a great job !
I must ask Andrew Southcott where the lamb was from, it was seriously good !
